Baroque Music Fest Will Begin June 17

The Baroque Music Festival Corona del Mar will open its third decade of concerts June 17 at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church and the Sherman Library and Gardens.
The festival will begin at 4 p.m. June 17 at the church with Burton Karson conducting a program of Vivaldi concertos for strings and Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ, Strings and Timpani.
It will continue with an organ recital by Andrew Arthur at 8 p.m. June 18 at the church and two chamber music programs at 8 p.m. June 20 and 22 at the Sherman Library.
The 21st festival will conclude with a choral program of works by Bach, Carissimi and Lully at 4 p.m. June 24 at the church.
Subscriptions for four concerts (excluding the June 18 program) are $85. The June 18 program is $10. Single tickets to other programs are $25 for those at the church, $30 for those at the gardens. Information: (949) 760-7887.
