Sean Boatright

Boatright, a senior outfielder who has signed to play at Long Beach State next season, was eight for 11 in last week’s

ment. He hit three home runs, tying him for the county
lead with nine this season. Boatright also had 10 runs batted in, two doubles, a triple and was intentionally walked four times. Trabuco Hills defeated Servite, 7-3, in the tournament’s third-place game on Wednesday.

Advanced to the fourth round of the Easter Bowl tournament with upset of 12th-seeded Drew Hoskins of Los Alamitos.

Fullerton, Baseball
Hit four home runs and had eight RBIs in three games. He has nine homers this season, second-best in the county.

Mandie Rowell
Santa Margarita, Track & Field
Rowell, a sophomore, tied for sixth in the girls’ pole vault at last weekend’s Mt. San Antonio College Relays. Rowell’s mark of 11 feet 8 inches tied her for fourth on the all-time Orange County
list. The event was won with a vault of 12-8. Rowell’s vault gave her the county lead this season, topping Elizabeth Woepse of Mater Dei, who had earlier posted an 11-6. Rowell’s previous top mark this season was 11-4.

Villa Park, Tennis
Despite playing all week with a strained stomach muscle, Nelson advanced to the finals of the Easter Bowl tournament.
* Jackie Brown
Fountain Valley, Softball
Allowed two hits and struck out six in nine innings to lead the Barons to the Woodbridge tournament title.
