Cheney as CEO

* Matthew Miller’s “A Market All Their Own Caters to CEOs” (Commentary, April 19) was terrific. Dick Cheney is a prime example. He knew nothing of Halliburton’s business but walked away with over $35 million in five years. Cheney says it was his business experience. It was his government contacts with the oil princes of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and the leaders of the Defense Department. Halliburton hired him for his know-who, not his know-how.
