Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting

ROLLING HILLS — An 18-year-old Paramount man has been arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a man whose body was found in a drainage ditch behind Rancho Del Mar High School, police said.
Joe Nino was arrested on charges of killing 21-year-old Juan Vasquez of South Gate, said Deputy Steve Jauch. Vasquez’s body was found Dec. 5 in the 100 block of Crest Road West, he said.
Nino graduated from Rancho Del Mar High in June, Jauch said.
