Orchestra Seeks Award Applicants

The Los Angeles Philharmonic is accepting applications for its 2001 Bronislaw Kaper Awards for Young Artists and its 11th annual Excellence in Diversity Fellowships.
Bronislaw Kaper Awards from $500 to $2,500 will be given to string players 17 years of age or younger residing anywhere in California. Applications must be received by April 6. The fellowships, also from $500 to $2,500, will be given to minority instrumentalists. Applicants must be 16 to 25. Deadline is March 16.
