Gonzaga Holds Off San Francisco, 84-82

Dan Dickau scored 28 points to lead Gonzaga to an 84-82 West Coast Conference victory at San Francisco on Friday night. The Bulldogs improved to 17-5 and 9-0 in conference. The Dons dropped to 10-14 and 3-6.
In another WCC game, Portland (10-12, 3-6) held off St. Mary’s, 83-74. The Gaels are 2-20 and 0-9.
In a women’s top 25 game, No. 15 Southwest Missouri State (17-4, 11-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference) defeated Southern Illinois, 89-70, at Springfield, Mo.
