Man Slain at Mall

RIVERSIDE — Police arrested a suspected gunman Saturday who allegedly shot and killed a Carson man and sent people scurrying for cover at a shopping mall.
Aasim Nia, 21, was arrested and booked for investigation of murder. The shooting occurred about 3:20 p.m. outside a shoe store in the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside. Johnny Ray Washington, 21, of Carson was found dead outside the store.
