No Abortion Aid
Salih Booker, in an analysis of President Bush’s decision to restrict money to international family planning organizations that provide abortions (Commentary, Feb. 9), writes, “It is obvious that the president was emboldened to make this decision because the people who will become its casualties are poor people of color.”
May I edit? “It is obvious that the president was emboldened to make this decision because, without it, the people who will become its casualties are poor babies of color.”
