When Casey Markovic goes to the free throw line, it usually translates into easy points for the Bell-Jeff boys.

According to Coach Eli Essa, improved focus has enabled Markovic to shoot better than 94% from the line.

“He’s always concentrating on his shooting, whether it’s three-pointers or free throws,” Essa said.

The 6-foot-5 Markovic made 32 consecutive free throws through six games, highlighted by his 14 for 14, 29-point performance in the Guards’ 68-65 loss to Grant in the Bell-Jeff tournament.
