Questioning Attention Directed Toward Rapper
I have to respond to the article about Eminem fan Andrea Aguilar (“Staying in Tune With Eminem,” Jan. 9). I’m not sure what the point of the article was: to show how immature Andrea is, how lacking in good judgment her parents are or how sick and twisted the content of Eminem’s work is. There is nothing funny about the lyrics of the songs described. According to the story, Andrea can’t relate to his real life--that which he bases his lyrics on--but likes what he has to say about that life. Huh? That Eminem was nominated for the best album of the year Grammy is beyond belief.
