LMKI Reports Losses Sharply Up Last Quarter

LMKI Inc., an Irvine provider of high-speed Internet services, reported a net loss of $2.3 million, or 6 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, ended Nov. 30, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $115,939, or 1 cent a share. Sales rose to $3.6 million from $1.5 million.

The company also said it lost $20.5 million, or 68 cents a share, for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, compared with a net loss of $863,361, or 3 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue increased to $8 million from $1.6 million.
