Tourist Plane Crashes, Killing All on Board

A plane carrying tourists crashed in southern Venezuela, killing all 20 passengers and four crew members on board, an airline spokesman said.
The passengers included six Americans, five Dutch, four Italians, two Hungarians, two Venezuelans and one Austrian, according to a list released by the government’s Air Rescue Service.
Rutaca Flight 224 crashed shortly after taking off from Ciudad Bolivar, said Victor Arauja, a pilot for the Venezuelan airline. The cause of the crash wasn’t immediately known.
