A barefoot man who said he was carrying a gun robbed a Camarillo credit union of an undisclosed sum of money Friday, authorities said.
FBI Special Agent Brent Robbins said the man walked into the Western Federal Credit Union on the 4900 block of Verdugo Way shortly before 5 p.m. and jumped the counter, telling employees he was armed.
The robber screamed profanities and demanded money from three tellers, who gave him all the cash from their drawers. He shoved the money into a bag and fled.
No weapon was seen, Robbins said.
The man was last seen in a bright blue Kia sport utility vehicle with Arizona license plates. He was described as white, about 30 years old and 5 foot 8, slight build, sandy blond hair and freckles. He was wearing jeans and a baggy green jacket.
The tellers were not injured, Robbins said.
