A San Fernando street gang member who was arrested three times in less than six months was sentenced Thursday to two years and seven months in jail.
Heriberto Rodriguez, 21, was initially arrested Dec. 16 and charged with trespassing at a North Hills apartment building. He was apprehended again on Jan. 13 at a San Fernando department store and charged with stealing a microwave oven, Deputy City Atty. Jodi Galvin said.
Rodriguez was arrested the third time on May 2 at a drugstore in Granada Hills and charged with stealing a compact disc player and punching a security guard, Galvin said.
He pleaded no contest in Los Angeles Superior Court in San Fernando to all the charges.
