New Deputy Airports Director Is Named

Simi Valley native Todd McNamee has been named deputy director of airports for Ventura County, overseeing airports in Oxnard and Camarillo.
McNamee, a 34-year-old pilot with a degree in aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida, was most recently project manager for an aerial photography firm in Mississippi. In his new job, he will have five employees reporting to him and will earn $62,000 annually.
He replaces Scott Smith, who became director of airports earlier this year.
