Slippery When Wet
* Rain and wet roads do not cause accidents. It rains every year in California, and each year stupid drivers speed and tailgate--and they cause accidents. All of us have seen some idiots driving faster than they should during a pouring rainstorm or on otherwise wet roads. This is part of the national pastime of not taking responsibility for our actions.
Every CHP officer will tell you to slow down, don’t tailgate and be considerate. If wet roads were the cause of accidents, then the East Coast and Midwest would be much less populated.
