FBI’s Blundering

Re “Freeh Admits More McVeigh Data Found,” May 17: Now the FBI has blundered again (some think by design) by not turning over evidence in the case of Timothy McVeigh, whose execution has been delayed by order of the attorney general. While I am anti-capital punishment, it is the law of the land and I live by the law. If these blunders occur in high-profile cases, one can only imagine what happens in those cases that never make the headlines.
These blunders make the case that it is time to join the civilized world in abolishing the death penalty.
