Man Is in Custody as Molestation Suspect

A Lake Forest man has been arrested on suspicion of child molestation after the Orange County Sheriff’s Department received a complaint that he had sexually molested two young boys who live in his neighborhood, authorities said.
Hernando Conwi, 43, was arrested Thursday and remained in custody Friday with bail set at $200,000. His arraignment is set for Tuesday at the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach. Conwi is a marketing manager for an automotive firm and has no prior criminal history, according to the Sheriff’s Department, which is conducting an investigation.
