Air Force Suspends 12
Air Force suspended 12 football players because of curfew violations, leaving the Falcons short-handed for their season finale against Utah on Saturday.
Coach Fisher DeBerry said the players, including five seniors, broke the curfew after Saturday night’s 52-30 loss at Hawaii, KVOR radio in Colorado Springs, Colo., reported Thursday.

Ahmaad Galloway ran for 126 yards and two touchdowns to lift Alabama to a 28-15 victory over Southern Mississippi in a rain-soaked game at Birmingham, Ala.
The victory made the Crimson Tide (6-5) eligible for a bowl game, likely the Music City Bowl in Nashville.
The Golden Eagles (6-4) are expected to receive a bid to the GMAC Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
