Chianti riservas of the stupendous 1997 vintage continue to arrive. This one, from a Chianti Classico estate that has been making wines for more than 1,000 years, fascinates with every sip. It’s from Antinori’s top Chianti property, and it’s an incredibly elegant wine that can hold its own against the best red wines from anywhere in the world. This is an exquisite example of modern Tuscan winemaking at its best.

Best of all, it’s a superb wine with food. Pick up a bottle or two to save for the holidays. Nobody will let this pass their lips without taking notice.
