Sated in Santa Barbara
I was sad to read that writer Gary Polakovic found the Paradise Cafe “disappointing” (“Santa Barbara, Naturally,” Weekend Escape, Sept. 9). I have lived in Santa Barbara for 53 years, and if asked where to go for dinner, I would respond “the Paradise.” My wife and I have found no place that compares.
