Bodacious Bodensee
How great to read a travel article on the Bodensee (Lake Constance) in Germany (“The Hidden Home of the Teutonic Tan,” Sept. 9).
I was an exchange student in Radolfzell am Bodensee in 1962 and was impressed with the beauty and uniqueness of the area. I was surprised later to discover that many Americans have never heard of it.
The Roman remains in the area are really interesting, especially on the island of Reichenau. The whole area, however, is wonderful.
