Boy, 7, Is Killed by Driver Fleeing Police

A driver fleeing police hit and killed a 7-year-old boy Tuesday night and then fled on foot, initiating a manhunt through the city.
Fire officials say the child was in full cardiac arrest when they arrived at the scene of the accident on Coldbrook Avenue about 7:40 p.m. The boy was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police from Downey and Bell Gardens and sheriff’s deputies searched late into the night for the driver of the silver four-door Honda.
