Although she is not yet close to Cigar territory, Ddf De Great Saiga has quite a win streak going.

The Idaho-bred filly will seek her seventh victory in a row in tonight’s $15,000 Coronado Handicap.

Owned by Miguel Martinez and trained by Adan Farias, the daughter of Floyd de Great is the even-money favorite on Ed Burgart’s morning line racing 350 yards against only four opponents.

A winner of eight of 15 in her career, Ddf De Great Saiga hasn’t lost since Dec. 29 and has moved up the class ladder during her streak.

Her most recent victory came in the Prissy Fein; the former $6,250 claimer has earned over $30,000 this year.

The 125-pound highweight will break from the rail under jockey Rodrigo Aceves. Gettinouta Dodge, Miami Cartel, Chicks Tell and Midnight Knight round out the field.
