2 Men Arrested in Killing of Actor

Police arrested two men Wednesday in connection with the killing of actor Merlin Santana, who was gunned down Nov. 9 as he sat in a car with a friend in South Los Angeles.
Damien Andre Gates, 20, and Brandon Douglas Byrnes, 23, were arrested during an early morning sweep of a house on 4th Avenue, police said.
Last week police arrested two girls, ages 15 and 14, in connection the killing of the actor, best known for his role as Romeo on TV’s “The Steve Harvey Show.”
