Road Work to Begin at Five Points Intersection

A road reconstruction project at the Five Points intersection in Oxnard will begin at 5 a.m. Monday.
Southbound traffic along Oxnard Boulevard at the junction with Wooley Road and Saviers Road will be reduced to two lanes. Northbound traffic along Oxnard Boulevard at the junction will be detoured onto Commercial Avenue.
The first phase of the project -- which includes removing railroad ties -- will continue through Dec. 11. The project is to be completed by Dec 20.
