Re “Militants Vow to Avenge a Hamas Leader,” March 9: Israel is waging a war that the Palestinian Authority must finish. Hamas has vowed the destruction of Israel and the destruction of the Palestinian Authority. Until the PA fights and wins a civil war with Hamas there can be no peace with Israel, since Hamas will use any land concessions by Israel to attack it further. The PA should stop condemning Israel’s bold attacks against Hamas and join Israel in wiping out these murderous animals.
