Farrah Fawcett’s Broadway debut in Nancy Hasty’s “Bobbi Boland,” scheduled for Nov. 24, has been canceled. The play closed Sunday after only seven previews -- the first Broadway play since 1993 to close in previews.
Producer Joyce Johnson said in a statement Monday that she learned the play needs a more intimate venue and that she hopes to bring the play to an off-Broadway theater, still starring Fawcett, in the spring -- pending what she called “necessary script revisions.”
