Eduardo Palomo, 41; Heartthrob Actor in Mexican Telenovelas

Eduardo Palomo, 41, a film and television actor who gained fame as a heartthrob in Mexican telenovelas, died of a heart attack Thursday while dining in a Los Angeles restaurant.
A native of Mexico City who began acting at 12, Palomo was best known for playing Juan del Diablo in “Corazon Salvaje” (Wild Heart), a critically acclaimed 1993 telenovela.
Palomo, a Glendale resident, moved to California several years ago to pursue a career in Hollywood.
He appeared in the six-part NBC miniseries “Kingpin,” which aired in February, and most recently acted in “A Day Without a Mexican,” a movie scheduled to be released next year.
