Ex-Dooley Staffer Seeks His Seat in Congress

Lisa Quigley, the former chief of staff for Rep. Cal Dooley (D-Fresno), is kicking off her campaign to replace her old boss with a $1,000-a-plate fund-raiser Monday at his Virginia home.
The Merced native resigned as Dooley’s chief of staff earlier this month after the congressman announced he would not seek re-election. Quigley is one of two known Democratic candidates seeking the 20th Congressional District seat.
