President Bush’s news conference will be carried live at 5:30 p.m. today by ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, KCET, CNN, CNBC, Fox News and MSNBC. Radio listeners can hear it on KCRW-FM (89.9).
The announcement of the news conference came after the television listings in today’s Calendar section had gone to press. As a result, the prime-time listings do not reflect scheduling changes the networks made Monday afternoon.
Fox, for instance, rescheduled the Tuesday night episode of “American Idol” for 8 p.m. Wednesday. The episode of “American Idol” originally scheduled to air Wednesday will instead be shown at 8 p.m. Thursday.
The Fox drama “24,” normally seen Tuesdays, will air at 9 p.m. Sunday.
NBC said the season finale of “Happy Family,” which had been planned for 8:30 tonight, will be shown next week instead, with a rerun of “Fraiser” airing in its spot tonight.
