Man Dies When Plane Crashes Into Ocean

A man died when his small plane crashed into the ocean Saturday near the Port of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The single-engine plane was found about 2 p.m., a quarter-mile offshore from Pacific Avenue and 36th Street, said Los Angeles County Fire Capt. Mark Savage.
