* Brandon Turner, Brentwood: Finished with 27 points, including two free throws in overtime, to lead Los Angeles Brentwood to an 83-79 victory over North Hollywood Campbell Hall in a Sun Valley Village Christian tournament game.

* Meghan McGuire, Fullerton Troy: Had 14 points to lead the Warriors (21-1), ranked No. 6 by The Times, to a 42-37 victory over No. 3 Brea Olinda (17-5) at Troy.

* Yukihiro Kaneda, South Torrance: Scored the winning goal in the 78th minute for the Spartans (12-2-6, 6-0-2), who edged Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula, 1-0, in a Bay-Ocean League crossover game at Peninsula.
