GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
* Brittney Taylor, El Segundo: Had 32 points and 12 rebounds for the host Eagles in a 59-41 Division III-A wild-card victory over Costa Mesa.
* Ava Reyes, San Gabriel Mission: Had 25 points and 10 assists for the host Pioneers in a 72-67 Division IV-AA first-round victory over Mojave.
* Michelle Kribell, Anaheim Western: Had 20 points and 24 rebounds and Christian Reeder added 21 points for the host Pioneers in a 65-56 Division III-AA first-round victory over Covina South Hills.
* Brynn Cameron, Newbury Park: Scored 28 points, including four three-point baskets, for the host Panthers in a 72-49 Division III-AA first-round victory over San Luis Obispo.
BOYS’ SOCCER
* German Delgado, Wilmington Banning: Scored the game-winning goal in the 14th minute of overtime to lead the visiting Pilots to a 2-1 first-round upset of fourth-seeded Lake Balboa Birmingham in the City Section playoffs.
* Moises Gomez, Van Nuys Grant: Scored five goals for the host Lancers in a 7-1 first-round victory over Gardena in the City Section playoffs.
GIRLS’ WATER POLO
* Danielle O’Toole, Fullerton Troy: Had 11 goals, four assists and four steals for the host Warriors in a 21-6 Division II first-round victory over Santa Ana Valley.
* Lindsey Bruner, Villa Park: Scored seven goals for the Spartans in an 11-6 Division II victory at Anaheim Katella.
