* Commerce Department reports on factory orders for November.
* ISM service index for December.
* Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William H. Donaldson addresses a meeting in Washington of mutual fund directors.
* Apple’s Macworld convention opens in San Francisco.
* Enron Corp. will present its reorganization plan to a U.S. Bankruptcy Court judge for preliminary approval. It would allow Enron to start negotiating payment of some claims.
Thursday:
