JUST BACK
Surfed for two weeks in Costa Rica. Booked a hotel just south of Nicaragua border to be near Witches Rock. Many guidebooks don’t recommend driving into Santa Rosa National Park in October’s rainy season. Enter jungle certain we can get in and out with ease. Once paved road ends, 4-by-4 roads built for a mountain bike. Near beach, road is washed out so I hike for 1 1/2 hours. Storm blows in and out, sky breaks into a thousand shades of purple, surf is combed by fair offshores.
