Hitting Parked Car, Driver Dies
A 39-year-old man died Monday night after slamming his vehicle into a parked car in Buena Park, police said.
His name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
The accident occurred about 7 p.m. as the man drove west on Los Ranchos Drive near Valley View Street, said Lt. Ken Coovert, a spokesman for the Buena Park Police Department.
For undetermined reasons, Coovert said, the man swerved into a car parked on the north side of the street and was ejected. The man was taken to West Anaheim Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, Coovert said.
