Teacher’s Aide Charged With Molesting 7 Girls

A teacher’s aide was arrested Friday on charges of molesting seven girls ages 7 to 10 at Vine Street Elementary School, authorities said.
Antonio Cruz, 38, allegedly molested the girls during class from May 2003 to January, prosecutors said. He was being held on $5-million bail.
Cruz no longer is a teacher’s aide, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District.
