Man, 27, Held in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Police arrested a 27-year-old Hermosa Beach man Thursday in a felony hit-and-run crash that killed a woman in her 60s.
Tyson Everett Neil was arrested after a witness reported seeing a white sport utility vehicle careen onto a sidewalk on Cahuenga Boulevard at 12:55 a.m. and strike two women who were sleeping. Police said Neil was the registered owner of the SUV.
One woman died at the scene and the other was treated for minor injuries. Police had not released their names.
