Holy omission! In Lynell George’s “Putting Pedal to the Metal” (June 6), she regrettably failed to mention Robert Randolph’s great contribution to the Blind Boys of Alabama’s Grammy-winning “Higher Ground” (2002). His blazing duet with guest guitar-slinger Ben Harper on the Stevie Wonder-penned title track, as well as his Family Band’s solid session support on the entire gospel/blues/rock CD provided enough musically bright moments to make any blind person “see the light.”
