City May Appeal Ruling on Peacocks

The City Council will meet next Tuesday to decide whether to appeal a court decision ordering the city to remove its free-roaming peafowl population.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jane L. Johnson ruled last week that the city illegally allowed peacocks and peahens to roam.
“We were disappointed,” City Manager Jim Hendrickson said of the ruling Tuesday.
