Little Progress Is Made in Military Talks

The first talks between military generals from North and South Korea ended with little progress, but they agreed to continue negotiations on how to reduce tension along the border.
The generals met at the North’s Diamond Mountain resort, just north of the heavily fortified demilitarized zone that separates the two nations.
The discussions ended in agreement to meet again June 3 at Mt. Sorak in South Korea, said a statement by the Defense Ministry in Seoul.
