Rural House Fire Kills 4 Young Siblings

Four children died Saturday when fire engulfed their rural home, and state investigators were called in to help determine the cause of the blaze in Gilbert, about 10 miles west of Columbia.
Autopsies were scheduled for the children, identified only as 5-year-old twins and their siblings, ages 3 and 2, officials said.
The children’s mother, Natasha Pierce, 23, was treated for severe burns, Lexington County Sheriff’s Capt. John Allard said.
