Vice Mayor Found Guilty of Domestic Violence
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
EAST PALO ALTO
The vice mayor of East Palo Alto has been convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and could face six months in jail.
A jury also found David Woods not guilty of charges of false imprisonment, which stemmed from Woods striking his wife, Keisha Roberson Woods, then flinging her onto a bed, authorities said.
The couple had apparently been arguing about child-support payments Woods was making to his former wife.
