A man who got out of his car after an accident on the San Diego Freeway was killed early Saturday when another vehicle struck his car and pushed it into him, authorities said.
Tu Tang, 34, of Westminster was standing in front of his car after colliding with another vehicle when a third car struck the rear of Tang’s car, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said. The accident occurred on the northbound San Diego Freeway north of Beach Boulevard.
Tang died about 1:15 a.m., said Larry Esslinger, supervising deputy coroner for Orange County.
