2 Suspects in Slaying of 15-Year-Old Arrested

Two suspects have been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy who was trying to protect a disabled friend from a gang attack, Los Angeles police said Tuesday.
Enrique Diaz was arrested at his home in Burbank last week and Job Popolo, who was already in the Van Nuys Jail on unrelated charges, was rebooked on suspicion of murder, officials said.
Samuel Salas died Aug. 13. His 21-year-old friend, who is partially paralyzed, said that about a dozen men were pummeling him when Salas came to his aid.
