Trickle Of Gold, who has won six in a row, isn’t the only shipper on a roll entering the $250,000 La Brea Stakes today at Santa Anita.

Great Intentions, a 3-year-old daughter of Cat Thief owned by Barry Schwartz and trained by Mike Hushion, has won three consecutive races entering the final Grade I stakes of 2005.

Purchased for $65,000 at Keeneland as a yearling, Great Intentions has won those last three races by a combined 18 lengths. She finished in a dead heat with Reunited in the second of those victories on Sept. 25 at Belmont Park.

Mitchell Ranch LLC and trained by Eric Kruljac. She will be ridden by Kent Desormeaux, who will be seeking his second La Brea win in three years. He scored with Island Fashion in 2003.
