Police arrested eight men and five women and seized PCP with an estimated street value of as much as $750,000 during a series of searches Thursday.
The smelly, amber-colored PCP was stored in apple juice containers inside a kitchen, said Los Angeles Police Capt. Sergio Diaz.
Five pounds of marijuana, $4,000 in cash and a small quantity of cocaine were also seized in searches of eight sites in the Jordan Downs housing project. Diaz said the searches were conducted in cooperation with federal law enforcement.
