Judge magazine, not its readers

Samantha Bonar’s criticisms of Robb Report Luxury Home [“For Nouveau Riche Only,” March 3] are vituperative and sanctimonious. The reviewer judges the magazine’s readers more harshly than the content, making an unfair ad hominem attack against them: “Stinking rich, but maybe not so classy.”
What about those of us who read it as pure fantasy literature, both amusing and well written, a window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous? Would Bonar deprive us of this vicarious pleasure?
Although she asserts that “class isn’t for sale,” Robb Report Luxury Home is -- on the newsstand. And I, for one, shall continue to buy it.
