GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
* Natalia Gonzalez, West Covina South Hills: Had 17 kills, five blocks and four aces to lead the Huskies to their first state playoff victory with a 25-14, 25-19, 25-22 win over San Diego Scripps Ranch in a Division II match.
* Kelly Irvin, L.A. Marymount: Had 13 kills, 11 digs and one block in a 25-16, 25-12, 25-12 victory over Chowchilla in the Division IV playoffs.
* Chelsea Lowe, Anaheim Esperanza: Had eight kills, seven digs and three aces and Ashley Engle added 14 kills and five blocks in a 25-21, 25-17, 25-14 victory over San Pedro in the Division I playoffs.

* Suliaman Sekamwa, Reseda: Had 29 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Regents to a 90-40 nonleague victory over Sherman Oaks CES.
